MEET THE TEAM
Dr Charles Pollock
Director
Charles has over 40 years experience in electronics, including 15 years as a lecturer and professor in multiple top-ranking UK universities.
Charles is a Chartered Engineer and holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Engineering from Imperial College London and Heriot-Watt, respectively.
Charles founded Technelec alongside Helen in 1993.
Dr Richard Pollock
Senior Motor & Power Electronics Engineer
Richard joined Technelec in 2020 following completion of his undergraduate studies and PhD in Electronic & Electrical Engineering at Imperial College London and the University of Strathclyde, respectively.
At Technelec, Richard works across all aspects of the business from electronics to motors.
Dr Helen Pollock
Director
Helen has over 40 years experience in electronics, including 10 years as a lecturer and supervisor in multiple top-ranking UK universities.
After graduating from Imperial College London with a degree in Physics, Helen worked on resonant converters before returning to academia to complete a PhD in Electronic & Electrical Engineering.
James Nicholls
Senior Motor Engineer
James has worked at Technelec for 7 years following completion of his Physical Science degree at the University of Cambridge. James’ expertise lies in motor design and 3D modelling.
